ZUMBA®

This Latin-inspired, easy-to-follow, dance-fitness party will exhilarate your senses and work all your major muscle groups in a high-energy cardio blast that leaves you invigorated, refreshed and full of life. Zumba® classes feature exotic rhythms like salsa, merengue, cumbia and samba set to sexy Latin and international beats. Before you know it, your abs, arms and thighs are toned up and energy level is soaring! There's no other fitness class like the Zumba Fitness-Party™. It's easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating!!

ZUMBA® TONING

When it comes to getting in shape, Zumba® Toning raises the bar (or rather the toning stick) with a class designed for the more hardcore Zumba participant. It combines targeted body-sculpting exercises and high-energy cardio work with Latin-infused Zumba moves to create a calorie-burning, strength-training dance fitness-party. Students learn how to use lightweight, to enhance rhythm and tone all their target zones, including arms, abs and thighs. Zumba® Toning is the perfect way for enthusiasts to sculpt their bodies naturally while having a total blast!

ZUMBA® GOLD

Zumba® Gold was designed for the active older adult, the true beginner, and/or people who are not used to exercising, or people who may be limited physically. Zumba Gold is done at a much lower intensity.  The same great Latin styles of music and dance are used and just as fun as the regular Zumba classes. Zumba® Gold classes strives to improve our balance, strength, flexibility and most importantly, the heart.

Generally this class will last between 30 to 45 minutes. A longer warm up and cool down period is suggested (usually 10 minutes). We use very easy to follow steps, which includes Salsa, Cha Cha, Merengue, Cumbia, Salsa, Rock & Roll (including Twist and Charleston), Belly Dance, Flamenco, and Tango.

MUSCLE CONDITIONING

A multi-level, simple and easy to follow workout that will challenge every major muscle using a variety of equipment. This class is for anyone who wants to cultivate muscular strength and endurance as well as concentrated toning in those stubborn areas. Blending the full-body resistance training with cardio training and you get Total Toning!

TURBO KICK

Turbo kick Burn calories and blast fat! Turbo Kick® mixes kickboxing and simple dance moves with music that makes you want to move it! You’ll love having fun and losing weight. It won’t even seem like you’re working out. The unique Turbo Kick® movement patterns, combinations and techniques work together to give YOU the ultimate cardiovascular workout that will melt fat and reshape your body! Each full body workout consists of a sport specific warm-up, higher paced intervals, easy to follow combinations, kickboxing specific strength/endurance training and a mind/body like cool-down designed to maximize weight loss!

PIYO

Relax & Stretch? No Thanks; I’m a cardio Junky! Don’t worry… PiYo™ is all about strength training and core conditioning for people who want to sweat their way to sculpted abdominals, increased core strength and greater stability!!  PiYo™ does all of that and more. This class is for those who color outside of the lines!  It’s the perfect fusion equaling strength building, rhythmic movement and power with a foundation in Pilates and yoga that burns calories while transforming the body.  It includes modifications so everyone can participate, yet offers progressions to challenge the more advanced, either way, you’ll get results.

MUSCLE FUSION

Pursue ultimate muscular endurance in this group strength training workout with medicine balls, free weights and cardio intervals. Sculpt your muscles and boost your metabolism through resistance training. You control the intensity level through weight selection and mindset.

NEW CLASSES!

OUTSIDE THE BOX - BOOT CAMP

You work outside the normal 9-5, you need an "outside the box" type of workout! Join us for a sunrise boot camp that will train your body to use fat and develop your muscles all day long! More of a nightowl? We have the late shift covered with a boot camp that will get you through burning more than midnight oil! Work with a certified personal trainer, in a group circuit setting, working your body head to toe for one hour! New to fitness: come early or contact the instructor for an introduction to the course!

 KICKBOXING

Boxing, also known as the sweet science, utilizes punches, footwork and body movement in a combative form using gloves. In this class you will learn the true form of all techniques of boxing including defense strategies like bobbing and weaving, slipping and evading punches. The team is often paired up to work drills with gloves and mitts.

 FITNESS & CONDITIONING

Fitness and Conditioning classes use a combination of Body weight, Suspension training, Plyometrics, Bands, Kettle Bell and free weight training as well as aerobic and anaerobic workouts to obtain optimum functional physical fitness and conditioning using both timed and repetition drills for peak performance.

HATHA YOGA

A branch of yoga which concentrates on physical health and mental well-being. Hatha yoga uses bodily postures, breathing techniques, and meditation with the goal of bringing about a sound, healthy body and a clear, peaceful mind (who doesn't want that??). There are nearly 200 hatha yoga postures, with hundreds of variations, which work to make the spine supple and to promote circulation in all the organs, glands, and tissues. Hatha yoga postures also stretch and align the body, promoting balance and flexibility.
